Mission
Cocktails & Coworking is a Lansing-based community cultivating connection, collaboration, and opportunity among creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
We believe strong communities are built by bringing together people with different talents, perspectives, experiences, and resources, and creating the conditions for those relationships to grow.
Like a community garden, we create spaces where people can put down roots, cross-pollinate ideas, share resources, and grow together. Through thoughtfully curated events, workshops, conversations, and experiences hosted throughout Lansing, we connect emerging talent with established leaders, local businesses, and new opportunities.
We're here to help people not only find their people, but find what's possible when the right people are in the room.
Vision
To cultivate a community that grows together.
We envision a thriving ecosystem where creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals actively invest in one another—sharing knowledge, resources, relationships, and opportunities that strengthen both individual careers and the broader community.
Our vision extends beyond events. We are building a community where collaboration becomes culture, where local talent has access to meaningful opportunities, and where the relationships formed in our rooms continue to create impact long after the event ends.
Ultimately, we want Cocktails & Coworking to be a place where people grow roots, make connections, and create something bigger than themselves.
Purpose
To create the conditions for connection to become tangible opportunities. Cocktails & Coworking creates intentional spaces for people to connect beyond the surface level. Our events bring together diverse "ingredients"—people, ideas, skills, perspectives, and resources—and give them room to mix.
Through community gatherings, interactive workshops, guided frameworks like Color Coded Vision, intimate conversations, and curated experiences with local businesses and industry leaders, we create opportunities for people to learn, collaborate, build relationships, and take action.
We believe meaningful community doesn't happen by accident. It has to be cultivated.
And when it's cultivated intentionally, it can become a powerful driver of personal, cultural, and economic growth.
